Technical description

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

can: mcba_usb: properly check endpoint type

Syzbot reported warning in usb_submit_urb() which is caused by wrong

endpoint type. We should check that in endpoint is actually present to

prevent this warning.

Found pipes are now saved to struct mcba_priv and code uses them

directly instead of making pipes in place.

How can CyberStrike help with CVE-2022-49151?

CyberStrike is an open-source, AI-augmented pentesting engine. Rather than flag a version number, it tests whether an issue like CVE-2022-49151 is actually reachable in your own applications and APIs, then verifies each finding before reporting it. That tells you if the weakness is a real, exploitable risk in your environment or a false positive you can safely deprioritize.
