Overview

CVE-2025-68180 is a known-severity vulnerability. It was published on December 16, 2025.

Technical description

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

drm/amd/display: Fix NULL deref in debugfs odm_combine_segments

When a connector is connected but inactive (e.g., disabled by desktop

environments), pipe_ctx->stream_res.tg will be destroyed. Then, reading

odm_combine_segments causes kernel NULL pointer dereference.

BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000000

How can CyberStrike help with CVE-2025-68180?

CyberStrike is an open-source, AI-augmented pentesting engine. Rather than flag a version number, it tests whether an issue like CVE-2025-68180 is actually reachable in your own applications and APIs, then verifies each finding before reporting it. That tells you if the weakness is a real, exploitable risk in your environment or a false positive you can safely deprioritize.
