CVE-2026-102899
Sentry is an application monitoring and error tracking platform.
Overview
CVE-2026-102899 is a known-severity vulnerability. It was published on October 14, 2026.
Technical description
Sentry is an application monitoring and error tracking platform. From 26.5.0 until 26.7.2, the SAML SSO identity-linking flow allows an attacker who controls a SAML identity provider to socially engineer an authenticated user into opening a malicious URL, link the attacker's identity to the victim's Sentry account, and take control of that account. The attack requires a browser that accepts the cross-site cookie context, including Firefox with SameSite=None cookies or Chromium with third-party cookies enabled. Sentry SaaS received the remediation on July 27, 2026, and self-hosted Sentry is fixed in version 26.7.2.
Remediation
Check the references section for vendor advisories, patches, and mitigation guidance. If immediate patching is not possible, review the CVSS vector to understand the attack surface and apply compensating controls such as network segmentation or access restrictions.

How can CyberStrike help with CVE-2026-102899?
CyberStrike is an open-source, AI-augmented pentesting engine. Rather than flag a version number, it tests whether an issue like CVE-2026-102899 is actually reachable in your own applications and APIs, then verifies each finding before reporting it. That tells you if the weakness is a real, exploitable risk in your environment or a false positive you can safely deprioritize.
